Chuck Taylor Favors

Thursday, April 30th, 2009

My 14 year old step-daughter Sophie wears Converse 24/7 so she was delighted when I showed her this.   Created by Short and Sweets, these cookies were made as the favors, and the bride and groom wore Chuck Taylors to match.

Cottonwood Grand Opening

Saturday, April 25th, 2009

Last night I had the pleasure of helping the artists at Cottonwood Center for the Arts with their grand opening party.  They had a huge turnout, and it was wonderful to see the community come out to support them.  Check out the big line to get in!

Polka Dot Picnic Baskets

Friday, April 10th, 2009

These personalized picnic baskets by Swoozie’s would make adorable bridesmaid gifts.  Fill them with cheese and crackers, homemade chocolate chip cookies, etc. and meet the girls  for a hike!  Even better, load up the the baskets and head to an outdoor concert or festival!

Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes

Wednesday, April 8th, 2009

I love this idea.  Created by The Blushing Bakeshop in Washington D.C., these ice cream cones are actually beautifully disguised cupcakes.   They’re almost too pretty to eat!

Decorate your own Cupcake Bar

Wednesday, April 1st, 2009

This is a cute idea for a party or shower.  Instead of serving cake, consider having “decorate your own” cupcakes.
