I recently had the pleasure of working with Jenny and Lloyd on their wedding at The Broadmoor’s Cheyenne Lodge. They wanted a 4th of July wedding without the red, white and blue so they went with a beautiful red, gold and orange theme. Here are some of the detail shots from their big day. The cake I want to feature this month is from Jacques Fine European Pastries. I love the purple flowers and the ribbon, and it shows that with some creativity, you can make a less expensive, simple frosted layer cake look exquisite.
