Here are some shots from a November wedding at Garden of the Gods Club.  The ceremony took place right as the sun was setting behind the mountains.  Pete with Apre Designer Portraits  took these beautiful photographs, and  Rich with Rich Designs did the amazing flowers.

Detail Shots ~ Garden of the Gods Club

Thursday, October 1st, 2009

Daniel and Carol were recently married at Garden of the Gods Club.  They had a beautiful morning ceremony next to the reflection pool followed by a lunch on the Sunrise Terrace.  Their colors were purple, ivory and silver, and their wedding favors were silver dipped aspen leafs.  Wendy at Blue Fox Photography took these photographs, and Jean-Marie Designs created the flowers.

Detail Shots ~ The Broadmoor’s Cheyenne Lodge

Tuesday, August 4th, 2009

I recently had the pleasure of working with Jenny and Lloyd on their wedding at The Broadmoor’s Cheyenne Lodge.  They wanted a 4th of July wedding without the red, white and blue so they went with a beautiful red, gold and orange theme.  Here are some of the detail shots from their big day.  Photos by Wendy at Blue Fox Photography.

Venue Spotlight ~ Lodge at Cathedral Pines

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009

Last week I had the opportunity to tour The Lodge at Cathedral Pines.  This venue is located in Black Forest and is an ideal setting  for a small, intimate Colorado wedding.  Surrounded by towering ponderosa pines, the Lodge features an outdoor patio for ceremonies and a beautiful water feature for scenic photographs.  For receptions, the Lodge can accommodate approximately 100 guests for cocktails or approximately 80 guests for a seated dinner.

Venue Spotlight ~ Fine Arts Center

Wednesday, February 4th, 2009

I just returned from the FAC wedding vendor open house and wanted to mention how fabulous this venue is for a wedding or event.  From the spectacular glass corridor and outdoor courtyard to the jazz-inspired Deco Lounge, the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center creates the ideal setting for an upscale, modern  and exceptional gathering.  Access to the galleries can be included with your event.  I also want to mention that the magnificent centerpieces shown in the photo were created by Rich Designs.

Detail Shots ~ Rockledge Country Inn

Wednesday, January 14th, 2009

I recently had the opportunity to help Brooke and Dave plan their wedding at Rockledge Country Inn-a quaint bed and breakfast located in Manitou Springs, CO.   While we had a rather large rain issue on their wedding day (always have plan B), everything turned out great!  Here are a few detail shots I took before the guests arrived.  Sri with Seralina Custom Florals created the beautiful flower arrangements.
